A Picture A Day – CanFranc, Spain

The rather stunning, disused train station, based in Spain that once ran through to France. Opened on 18th July 1928, CanFranc is steeped in history and was widely used in World War 2. Definitely a place ticked off on my bucket list!

More of the images I took at CanFranc can be viewed over at Sim’s Life.

    • Oh yes and more! I could have spent all day wandering around there quite happily – shame we didn’t get the chance to go inside!

    • I have only managed to publish several of the 100’s of photos I took – I really want to transfer some onto canvas – they are too beautiful to only view on my laptop!

    • I know!! It is so sad, such a beautiful building. The pictures do not show that the other side of the station is the exact duplicate… it is stunning!
