My Father has the luxury of amazing weather, fortunately living in France. His vegetable allotment is fantastic and I only wish I had the patience and weather to grow my own vegetables!
In true French form… he even has several strings of onions!
A Picture A Day: A French Cliche
Good to see your father keeping the old French stereotypes alive. I hope he also has a beret which he wears whilst cycling 😉
oh wouldn’t it be wonderful to have such lovely weather and be able to grow such great food. My onions all turned out the size of golf balls. and then the slugs ate them. Harumph.
My dad has strings of them… and garlic too! I found it all highly amusing! 🙂
what a beautiful picture that is. I love these strings of onions. One can almost taste the cheeses and red wine. Ahhh to be in France 🙂
I loved the contrast – my dad has done well, granted… just wish he could look after my garden!
